Theoikos

A large group of men, women, and children gathered outside a building for a group photo. They are standing in front of a red banner with a gold cross symbol. The building has a brick exterior and a driveway with parked cars nearby.

To start the Advent season, we host an annual event called Theoikos. Churches from various denominations from all over South East Queensland join together for this free event featuring a carol service, trivia, exciting prizes, a sausage sizzle, and a food counter where each church is invited to bring a dish to sell.

This service is a wonderful opportunity for our communities to come together as one under our shared faith, and celebrate the advent season.

Each year, we look forward to worshiping together in a spirit of harmony and fellowship. May the season of advent bring peace and joy to your church community, and may our collective voices bring glory to God.
