Anglican Mothers’ Union Gold Coast is part of a worldwide organisation that seeks to share God’s love through prayer, encouragement, strengthening and supporting peoples through various projects relevant to their local communities. At branch level they reach out to their communities in various ways. Here at Gold Coast North we have 18 members supporting the community through; blessing bags presented to people suffering from ill health; attending Baptisms and presenting the baby/child with a hand knitted teddy bear; supporting World Day of Prayer; supporting activities to reduce Domestic violence. Members also maintain connections and share ideas with the wider organisation both in Queensland and Worldwide. For example a visit from the Worldwide President in 2024. Fellowship activities are also important and these may include birthday celebrations, Christmas lunches, sausage sizzles, and events such Mary Sumner Day, Trivia mornings and Reflection day held in 2024 events.
