Community Kitchen
& Pantry

In conjunction with our Community Garden at St Matthew’s, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our Community Kitchen at St James Church. We see the Community Kitchen offering numerous benefits to our neighbourhood by fostering social connection and improving well-being. This initiative is designed to provide a welcoming space where community members can come together to prepare and share meals, combating food insecurity and loneliness, particularly among vulnerable populations such as the elderly or low-income families. The kitchen can facilitate community events, promoting a sense of belonging and collective identity.

Community Food Pantry

As part of a new initiative from our Parish, we’ve opened a community food pantry at St James where people can collect what they need. We welcome any members who may be able to share with us any organisation that supplies groceries to support this new mission.
